Change isn't easy, but the QPP Alliance envisions engaging 4 main pillars to make a comprehensive alliance to encourage respecful device use.
Work with and encourage organizations and companies which operate public spaces, such as shopping centers, public transport operators, and airport operators, to develop and implement respectful device use policies, and empower customers using these spaces to encourage respecful device use.
Engage individuals and community organizations to be advocates for respectful device use, and gather feedback and better understand the benefits and concerns across an inclusive set of population.
Connect with policymakers, local officials, and other stakeholders (community groups, neurodiverse organizations, public services) to advocate for policies encouraging respectful device use.
Work with industry such as phone manufacturers, accesory makers, software companies, and app developers to make it easier, simpler, and cheaper to use devices respectfully, and implement software, hardware, and economic approaches to make respectful device use the norm.
